Within the 20th. Istanbul Art Fair/ TUYAP ARTIST 2010, the International Art Project “WALL FOR PEACE – W-AFPIAAP “ realized on the dates 30.th of October and 7.th of November 2010 at the 8th. Exhibition Hall of TUYAP, Exhibition and Congress Center, in Buyukcekmece / Istanbul. / Turkey

81 artists from 32 countries participated in the Art Action "WALL FOR PEACE-W-AFPIAAP İSTANBUL2010"

Many artlovers, artists visited our part in the art fair and joined our interactive painting workshops on peace concepts;

1. " Draw & Paint For Peace" 2. "Inner Peace" 3. "What Makes You in Peace?" 4. "Paradox of War & Peace"

Selected Video Art demonstrations and live performances have been presented in front of the Peace Wall during the Art Action.

ART WALL FOR PEACE - CONCEPT

“WALL FOR PEACE” is an artistic aspect

against all actual cultural and social discriminations, all restrictions

and barriers towards freedoms, against all conflicts and wars in our World. It is a conceptual unification by referring the walls, which have been built as an indicator of war ideas throughout the history. The art works of World Artists with “ the Shapes of Peace ” clasped together, symbolize the neccessity of intercultural

harmony, communication,

LOVE and PEACE!

The Wall For Peace is a sustainable Art Project

which aims to react in various cities and countries of the world.

26 Ülkeden 67 " BARIŞ SANATÇISI" "BARIŞ İÇİN SANAT" temasıyla, 100 'ün üzerinde yapıtı üç ayrı sanat galerisinde sergileyerek ŞİDDETE ve SAVAŞA HAYIR!!"

mesajı verdi. Barış İçin Sanat Hareketinde, Resim, Heykel, Yerleştirme, Fotoğraf, Dijital Sanat dallarında 100 ün üzerinde görsel yapıt, video ve performanslar üç ayrı sanat ortamında izleyicilere sunuldu.

Etkinlikleri izleyenler " Barış Mesajları" ve " Barış Bayrağı" yerleştirmelerine sanat ve barış üzerine düşünce ve duygularını sözlerle ve resimlerle ekleyerek interaktif bir etkileşim ortamında buldular kendilerini. "Barış İçin Sanat" hareketi izleyici ve sunumlayanların bütünleştiği bir atmosfer oluşturdu.

On the theme "ART FOR PEACE",

More than 100 artworks,performances,

video art works have been presented by "ARTISTS FOR PEACE", at three art locations of

the Art Action-W-AFPIAAP-ISTANBUL2009.

Visitors of the Art Action have been joined through action by adding their thoughts, feelings with their drawings and words on "ART FOR PEACE" through the Installations titled with "Messages Of Peace" and "Peace Flag" during the Exhibition. A collective interactive athmosfer has been come out between the visitors and the exhibiting artworks during the Art Action Istanbul2009.
